Overview

Overview

This case study showcases my work on a website redesign for a SaaS startup focused on developing a productivity tool. The startup needed a robust online presence to attract users and build credibility. As the UX/UI designer, I led the design of key website components, including the landing page, pricing page, blog, blog posts, and About Us section.

The Problem

The project's outset, the startup had only a basic logo and minimal online presence. The lack of a well-designed website was hindering user acquisition and trust-building efforts. My goal was to create a cohesive and engaging website that would clearly communicate the startup’s value proposition and make a strong impression on potential customers.

Research & Insights

To inform the design, I conducted competitive research on other SaaS startups to understand effective presentation and user engagement strategies. Key findings included the importance of simplicity, clear messaging, and an intuitive user experience. I also focused on the target audience—busy professionals seeking productivity solutions—and aimed to provide clear, actionable information to meet their needs.

Landing Page

The landing page was designed to be visually striking, using bold typography and clear calls to action. The objective was to quickly convey the core value of the product—enhancing productivity through streamlined tools—while showcasing key features. I included sections for user testimonials and product screenshots to build trust and credibility.

Pricing Page

Clarity was crucial for the pricing page. I organized the information into easily digestible tiers, allowing users to compare plans and choose the best fit. Each plan featured a clear call to action, and subtle visual cues highlighted the most popular option.

Blog & Blog Posts

The blog was designed as a hub for valuable content to engage users over time. The layout was clean and easy to navigate, encouraging exploration of multiple posts. Each blog post was structured to enhance readability, with careful attention to typography, spacing, and imagery.

Iterations & Problem-Solving

One challenge was balancing aesthetic appeal with a tight development timeline. I collaborated closely with the engineering team to ensure design elements were feasible within the timeframe. Iterations were based on stakeholder feedback, refining components such as the pricing page layout and landing page flow to optimize user engagement.

Outcome & Anticipated Impact

While the website did not go live during my tenure, the design work set a solid foundation for the startup’s online presence. The design elements were well-received by the internal team, and the new website was poised to enhance user engagement and establish credibility upon launch. The project demonstrated a strong approach to creating a professional and engaging online presence for a SaaS startup.
